About The Project:
INDIA KHADI a story within the store is designed by AAA DESIGN STUDIO. Located in Civil Lines the heart of the city, the store covers a carpet area of 375 SQFTS. Stands on an elevated upper ground floor the site enjoys a lot of attention.
Challenges:
KHADI is a very strong fabric with a stronger story and the background associated with it. KHADI is so powerful that it immediately convince one to travel back in time and recall the freedom movement started by the father of the nation. KHADI holds significance in every citizen of INDIA and its pure SWADESHI.
The biggest responsibility for the team of AAA DESIGN STUDIO was to keep the HISTORY ALIVE of the fabric yet creating such a powerful space where time meets, the past and the present.

Our Approach:
The theme revolves around the KHADI and the various design opportunities it brings with itself.
As a store, INDIA KHADI also bridges the gap between the young consumer and the historic fabric. The design and the details are evolved by keeping in mind the present consumer.
Presenting the HISTORIC product in a futuristic interactive store, which allows the consumer to walk around and interact with the great products made up of KHADI.
The store though designed in a futuristic manner yet retains the essence of ethnic INDIA by the selection of traditional elements and colours. Taking the opportunity the team of AAA DESIGN STUDIO used KHADI in various decors, from the cash counter to the backdrop of the Store. The store enchants the fabric which brings life to the INDIA KHADI.
